Volunteerism Report

Volunteerism Report
On behalf of CaywoodBrown Foundation, I am pleased to announce the part-completion of Batch I of our volunteerism program. As you may recall, I informed you of the kick off of this program in October, 2017. Shortly after successful candidates were screened, mentored and placed in some prospective organizations for a period of 6 months starting in November 2017. We also informed you about our partnership with the NLNG and Office of the Deputy Governor (“formal partners”) as well as the Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (“Program Executive”) which has been very successful so far. At the end of April 2018, five out of the twelve shortlisted candidates completed their placement. I am pleased to inform you that four of them have received confirmations for continuous employment in their organizations. We are hopeful that the remaining eight candidates will be retained at the end of Batch II of the Program. This indeed is a success story for the foundation. We are grateful to all our partners for helping us achieve the vision of the foundation which is to ensure that all youths within our reach are empowered to become self-secure; encouraged to pursue their dreams as leaders, and inspired to become innovators and employers of labor.
